Activewear Deals for Sept. 8, 2026: 8 Markdowns We Checked, and the Size Trap Behind Them

- Eight activewear markdowns held up when we opened the seller's own product page at 12:40 a.m. ET on Sept. 8.
- The deepest cut of the day is a Girlfriend Collective foldover legging at $29.40, down from $98 — but only in XXS through M.
- Of 253 discounted in-stock listings we pulled across five brand stores, 102 have exactly one size or length left at the sale price.
- On Amazon, one comparison legging sits at its lowest recorded price ever, $14.99 — and Bubblelime's own store beats its own Amazon listing by $9.
Quick answer — The best value on the board this morning is the Senita Skin Shakti legging at $20, down from $45, because it is the only deep markdown still carrying a full XS–XL run. The Girlfriend Collective foldover is a bigger percentage cut but is nearly sold through.
A sale rack tells you two things: the price, and how much of it is left. Most deal roundups only report the first one.
What actually dropped in price today?
Every line here was open in front of us this morning. Where a product sells by leg length rather than by size, we list the length, since the discount is not always the same on both. Both passes ran between 12:35 and 1:00 a.m. ET.
| Item | Now | List | Off | Sizes left at this price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Girlfriend Collective Kiwi Foldover Legging | $29.40 | $98.00 | 70% | XXS–M in 23.75", XXS–S in 28" |
| Senita Strappy Bra, Black Snake Foil | $15.00 | $35.00 | 57% | XS, S, XXL only |
| Senita Skin Shakti Legging, 27" | $20.00 | $45.00 | 56% | XS, S, M, L, XL |
| Bubblelime Bootcut, navy, 29"–37" | $16.00 | $32.98 | 51% | 29" length (35" length is $18, was $35.98) |
| Bubblelime Side-Pocket Legging, plum | $18.00 | $36.98 | 51% | 28" length (26" length is $20, was $39.98) |
| PopFlex Crisscross Hourglass, English Ivy | $34.90 | $70.00 | 50% | XXS in four lengths, 3X extra petite |
| PopFlex Contour Legging, Deep Forest | $40.90 | $68.00 | 40% | 14 size-and-length combinations |
| Baleaf Stretchy High-Rise Capri, 21" | $38.00 | $56.00 | 32% | XS–3XL across black, khaki, white, navy |
Checked Sept. 8, 2026, between 12:35 and 1:00 a.m. ET. Sale prices move without notice, so treat the percentage as of that moment.
Which one would we actually buy?
The Senita Shakti at $20. It is the only listing in the table with a complete XS-to-XL run still sitting at the marked-down price, which means you are choosing a legging rather than choosing whatever size survived.
👉 Second pick: the Baleaf capri at $38. Smallest discount on the board, widest size run — XS through 3XL in four colors. The PopFlex Contour at $40.90 is the pick if you are very short or very tall. Its remaining combinations include extra petite and 6-foot-plus lengths, which almost never survive a clearance.

Why does a 70% discount sometimes mean nothing?
Because the discount is attached to leftovers. We pulled the full public catalog of five activewear stores — 3,352 listings — and narrowed it to leggings, capris, tights, shorts and bras that were both in stock and priced under their own list price. That left 253 listings.
102 of those 253, or 40%, had exactly one size or one length still available at the sale price. A shopper who wears a middle size sees a wall of red tags and finds almost nothing wearable.
Percentage off is a headline. Size depth is the story.
How do the five stores compare on regular price?
Before you decide whether $34.90 is cheap, it helps to know what each brand charges when nothing is on sale. These are median in-stock legging prices from the same catalog pull.
| Store | In-stock leggings | Median price | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bubblelime | 401 | $31.98 | $8.00–$43.98 |
| Baleaf | 83 | $43.00 | $24.00–$75.00 |
| Senita Athletics | 121 | $45.00 | $10.00–$49.00 |
| PopFlex | 75 | $70.00 | $20.90–$92.00 |
| Girlfriend Collective | 33 | $108.00 | $29.40–$128.00 |
Read the table sideways and the Girlfriend markdown looks different: $29.40 is below Bubblelime's median. Read the Senita line and $20 is less than half its own store median. We use these bands as the reference point in our price rules for leggings.
What do the same styles cost on Amazon?
Amazon is where most of these brands sell their second, cheaper line, so a brand-store sale only counts as a deal if it beats the marketplace. We could not read Amazon's US prices directly — the site serves us a converted local price, which is not what an American shopper pays — so we used the US price-history record for each listing instead. Every figure below is in dollars, from the US catalog, with the date that price was last recorded.
| Amazon listing | Price (last recorded) | List | Lowest ever tracked | Same-style brand store |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Colorfulkoala 7/8 legging, pockets | $14.99 (Aug 31, 2026) | $29.00 | $14.99 (Aug 31, 2026) | — |
| Baleaf 7/8 ankle legging, pockets | $25.99 (Sep 1, 2026) | $29.99 | $14.99 (Mar 2, 2026) | — |
| Bubblelime side-pocket bootcut, 29" | $25.99 (Sep 6, 2026) | $25.99 | $20.79 (Aug 4, 2026) | $16.00 on bubblelime.com |
| Baleaf high-waist capri, 17" | $28.99 (Jun 8, 2026) | $36.99 | $23.19 (Mar 25, 2026) | $38.00 for the 21" on baleaf.com |
| Baleaf crossover flare, 29" | $29.99 (Aug 24, 2026) | $41.99 | $19.99 (Dec 9, 2024) | — |
Price-history record read Sept. 8, 2026. Each listing was last scanned two to six days ago, so treat these as the most recent confirmed price rather than a live quote.
Three things fall out of that table, and only one of them flatters the brand stores.
- One listing is at its own record low. The Colorfulkoala 7/8 at $14.99 has never been cheaper since tracking began. Nothing on today's brand-store board can say that.
- The Baleaf capri is cheaper on Amazon. $28.99 for the 17-inch there against $38.00 for the 21-inch on Baleaf's own site. Different inseams, so not the identical garment — but if the length works for you, the marketplace wins by $9.
- Bubblelime is cheaper on its own site. Its Amazon bootcut sits at $25.99 while the comparable navy bootcut on bubblelime.com is $16.00. Same brand, and the brand store is the better buy by nine dollars.
The Baleaf ankle legging is the clearest skip. At $25.99 it is eleven dollars above its own record low of $14.99, which means today is an ordinary day for that listing, not a sale.
How did we check these prices?
Each price came from the brand's own product page, read directly rather than copied from a deal feed. We recorded the sale price, the seller's own list price, and which variants were still purchasable at that price.
Amazon needed a different method. A marketplace page served to us shows a converted local price rather than the US dollar figure an American shopper is quoted, so instead of converting and guessing we pulled each listing's US price-history record, which stores the dollar amount and the date it was recorded. That is why the Amazon column carries a date on every number. Two Bubblelime listings and one Yogipace listing were dropped from the table for the same reason we drop anything else: their trackers have not scanned since 2024 and 2021, so there is no current price to report. The full method is in our guide to reading price history.
What kind of deal do we skip?
- One size, one color, final sale. If XS is the only survivor, that is inventory disposal, not a sale.
- A discount that only exists on a length you cannot wear. Two of today's eight are priced differently by leg length.
- Sitewide percentages with no list price shown. If the page will not tell you what it cost yesterday, you have nothing to compare.
- Bundles priced above the sum of the singles. Rare, but it happens on set listings.
- Anything under $12 with no fabric detail. Cheap is fine. Unlabelled is not.
Do these sale prices change during the day?
Yes, and clearance moves fastest. One listing above changed between our two passes, about 15 minutes apart: the PopFlex Contour dropped from 15 size-and-length combinations to 14, losing the 1X extra-petite pairing.
Is a "final sale" tag a reason to avoid the item?
Not by itself, but it removes your safety net. On a final-sale legging, get the leg length right the first time — our inseam-by-height guide at our sister site covers where each length lands.
Where does Bubblelime fit in this list?
It is the cheapest of the five stores by median, and the two Bubblelime listings above are genuine cuts from its own posted list price. It is also the store with the most confusing length labels, since one product can carry five different inseams at three different prices.
TL;DR — Eight verified markdowns as of 12:40 a.m. ET. Best size depth: Senita Shakti at $20 and Baleaf capri at $38. Deepest cut: Girlfriend Collective at $29.40, nearly sold out. Across five stores, 40% of today's sale listings have a single size left, which is the number worth remembering the next time a banner shouts 70%. On Amazon, the Colorfulkoala 7/8 at $14.99 is the only listing we checked sitting at its all-time low.
What did we leave off the list?
More than we put on it. Of the 253 discounted in-stock listings we pulled this morning, 102 were down to a single size or a single length, and those never make the table no matter how large the percentage.
Senita is the clearest case. Its store had 124 discounted listings in our scope — more than any other brand here — but 43 of them were final-sale colorways with one size left. A 78% cut on a capri that exists only in extra small is a number, not an option.
We also skipped anything without a fabric composition on the page, and anything where the discount lived only on a color we could not confirm was in stock. That trimming is why eight rows survived from a pool of hundreds. Category pages for leggings and sports bras collect the ones that keep passing.
