Flare and Bootcut Yoga Pants on Sale, Sept. 11, 2026: $11 at Target, $47.90 at PopFlex, and What Sits Between

- The cheapest adult flare legging we found is Target's Wild Fable ButterBliss at $11.00 on clearance, half its $22.00 regular price.
- Walmart's Avia SoftSculpt flare with pockets is $20.00 in XS–4X, the widest size run under $25.
- On Amazon, most name-brand flares sit at or near their usual price. The FOHOFO crossover flare at $9.97 is the one sitting on its record low.
- Bubblelime's own black side-pocket bootcut is $6.99 cheaper on Amazon than on bubblelime.com at the 29-inch length.
Quick answer — For a casual flare, buy Target's $11.00 ButterBliss while it is on clearance. For one you will actually train in, PopFlex's Contour Flared at $47.90 is 33% off with 15 height-and-size combinations. If you are tall, a five-inseam bootcut beats both.
Every store we checked is selling a flare legging this fall. Prices run from eleven dollars to seventy-five. Here is what each tier costs this morning and what the extra money buys.

Is a flare on Amazon cheaper than the brand version?
For no-name crossover flares, yes. For name brands, not this week. We read each listing's US price history instead of the Amazon page itself, which blocks us. More listings, with buy targets, are in our Amazon price check.
| Amazon listing | Last recorded | Record low | Buy today? |
|---|---|---|---|
| FOHOFO crossover flare, pockets | $9.97 (Sept. 1) | $9.97 (Sept. 1, 2026) | Yes, it is at its low. |
| Sunzel no-front-seam crossover flare | $24.99 (Sept. 10) | $19.99 (Feb. 18, 2026) | Fair. $5 above its low. |
| Baleaf flare with pockets, 29" | $27.99 (Sept. 8) | $19.99 (Dec. 9, 2024) | Wait. List is $41.99, but $28 is its normal. |
| Sunzel crossover flare, 30" | $29.99 (Aug. 2) | $18.59 (Mar. 25, 2026) | No. |
| Heathyoga flare with pockets | $29.99 (Sept. 7) | $18.98 (June 24, 2026) | No, it was $11 less in June. |
| CRZ Yoga Butterluxe flare, 32" | $34.20 (Aug. 31) | $32.30 (Nov. 20, 2025) | Close enough if you want this one. |
| Bubblelime side-pocket bootcut, 29" | $25.99 (Sept. 6) | $20.79 (Aug. 4, 2026) | Fine; see below. |
Record read on camelcamelcamel, Sept. 11, 2026, 1:35–1:45 a.m. ET. Sizes and colours on Amazon are priced separately, so your size may differ by a dollar or two.
That Baleaf line shows why a list price tells you little. A $41.99 list with a $27.99 price looks like 33% off, yet the record's long-run average is $29.20. Our fake-sale checks explain the trick.
Does Bubblelime cost less on its own site or on Amazon?
We link to Bubblelime, so we checked this one twice. Its black side-pocket bootcut (model BWWB139) costs $32.98 at the 29-inch length on bubblelime.com. The Amazon listing for the same model in black at 29 inches was last recorded at $25.99. For that pair, Amazon is the cheaper place to buy.
The brand store wins on two other counts. It sells five inseams, from 29 to 37 inches, side by side on one page. And its sale rack has a navy high-waist bootcut at $16.00 in XS, L and XL at 29 inches, plus $18.00 in XL at 35. If one of those is your size, that is the cheapest brand-store bootcut on this page.
Why do inseam options matter more on a flare than on a legging?
A regular legging that is an inch long just bunches at the ankle. A flare that is an inch short looks like a mistake, because the bell hem is supposed to skim the top of your shoe.
That is why the price gap between tiers is not all brand name. PopFlex cuts the Contour Flared in five heights, from under 5 feet to over 6. Bubblelime sells five inseams. Walmart's ButterCore flare comes in one length, 31 inches. If you are 5'4" or so, a single 31-inch length will probably do. If you are 5'10", it will not, however cheap it is. For measuring your inseam properly, see Legging Size Guide.
Why are flares back in the first place?
The shape is old. Bell-bottoms were a late-1960s staple, and the purple suede pair below was photographed in a display case at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. What is new is the fabric: the same stretch knit as a gym legging, fitted through the hip and knee, then opened at the calf.

For shoppers, a flare works as a pant as much as a legging. That makes it an easier buy than a technical tight, and an easier place to overpay.
Which flare is worth buying today?
Under $15: Target's Wild Fable ButterBliss at $11.00, or FOHOFO on Amazon at $9.97, last recorded Sept. 1, if you want pockets. Plus sizes: Walmart's Terra & Sky at $17.98 runs to 5X. For training: PopFlex Contour Flared at $47.90. Tall: a Bubblelime bootcut in 35 or 37 inches, or PopFlex in its Tall and Extra Tall cuts.
Skip the Heathyoga and the 30-inch Sunzel today. Both have been more than $10 cheaper this year. Our store-by-store ceilings are in when a legging deal is worth it, and the rest of this morning's markdowns are on the Sept. 11 deal board.
Can you work out in flare leggings?
For yoga, Pilates and walking, yes. For running, cycling or anything with a rope or pedal, the bell hem catches. Stick to a straight legging there — see our running board.
Is bootcut the same as flare?
Close cousins. A bootcut opens gently from the knee, while a flare opens wider and later. Stores use the two words loosely, so check the photo, not the name.
Should I size down in a flare?
Not by default. Size to your hip and waist as you would a legging, then pick length by inseam. Our buying guides cover fabric and fit, and earlier leggings coverage lives in the Leggings section.
