How to Watch SNL UK in the U.S.: Peacock Release Day and Time
In the U.S., Saturday Night Live UK is a next-day show: it airs in Britain on Saturday night and streams on Peacock on Sunday. The Oct. 17 episode, with host James Norton, reaches Peacock on Sunday, Oct. 18, and the Oct. 24 episode, with Cynthia Erivo, on Sunday, Oct. 25.
NBC's own viewing guide for the series says the same thing: episodes stream next day on Peacock in the U.S. The guide names no American broadcast of the British show, so there is no Saturday-night channel to look for.
Is SNL UK on Peacock?
Yes. NBC announced the deal in March, when the show launched, and its guide says Peacock gets each episode the day after it airs in Britain. The first episode aired on Saturday, March 21, 2026, on Sky One and NOW in the U.K. and reached Peacock on Sunday, March 22.
Peacock is a paid service, and we couldn't read its current plan page from our location on Oct. 16, so this page carries no price or plan names. Check peacocktv.com for what your plan includes before you count on a Sunday viewing.
What time does SNL UK come out on Peacock?
NBC's guide gives the day, not the hour. The one hour we can point to comes from The Futon Critic's listings, which show this season's Peacock releases at 10:01 a.m. ET on Sundays. We read those rows on Friday, Oct. 16. It is a single listings source, so treat 10:01 a.m. ET as the listed time and not a guarantee.
| Episode (U.K. air date) | Host | Musical guest | On Peacock in the U.S. | Listed time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday, Oct. 10 | Danny Dyer | Sasha Keable | Sunday, Oct. 11 | 10:01 a.m. ET (aired) |
| Saturday, Oct. 17 | James Norton | The Streets | Sunday, Oct. 18 | 10:01 a.m. ET |
| Saturday, Oct. 24 | Cynthia Erivo | Blossoms | Sunday, Oct. 25 | 10:01 a.m. ET |
When does SNL UK air in Britain?
Saturdays at 10 p.m. U.K. time on Sky, which works out to 5 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 (our math: Britain and the U.S. East Coast are five hours apart until clocks change in the U.S. on Nov. 1). That is the live show for British viewers only. Nothing on the schedules we checked puts it live on a U.S. channel.
Which episodes are coming?
The hosts and guests come from Sky's announcement of Sept. 29, and the U.S. listings carry the same pairings. Danny Dyer hosted Oct. 10, James Norton hosts Oct. 17, and Cynthia Erivo hosts Oct. 24. There was no episode on Oct. 3, and no dates are announced past Oct. 24. The week-by-week table lives on our who is hosting SNL UK page.
Short answers
Can I watch SNL UK live in the U.S.? Not from what NBC and the listings show. The U.S. release is the next day on Peacock.
Is SNL UK the same as SNL? No. It is a separate British series made for Sky. The American show is on NBC on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET; whether it is new this week is on our new-or-rerun page, and its host is on who is hosting SNL this week. For the American show's live options, see how to watch SNL live.
This page belongs to our SNL UK section. A date goes in the table once the broadcaster and the listings agree, as set out on how we make this. If something here is wrong, the corrections address is on the about page.
