Yes, Have I Got News for You on CNN is listed as new on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. ET. It is the sixth episode of this season, and CNN hasn't announced the guests yet. The most recent episode aired on Saturday, Oct. 17, and the Saturday before that, Oct. 10, was new too.

The Futon Critic's CNN listings number the Oct. 24 episode #506, and TVmaze's Season 5 list carries it on the same date. We checked CNN's press room on Thursday, Oct. 22 and found no guest release for Oct. 24; the latest one is dated Friday, Oct. 16.

Is Have I Got News for You new tonight?

It is new on most Saturdays this season, with one planned gap. Five episodes have aired and five are left, counting Oct. 24. The four after it are numbered #507 to #510 in the listings, but only Oct. 31 also appears in TVmaze's list, so the November rows are the network's plan and not a promise.

Why was there no new episode on Sept. 26?

CNN hasn't said, and we found no statement about it, so we don't offer a reason. The numbering does show it was planned: Sept. 19 is #502 and Oct. 3 is #503, with no number in between. A lost episode would have left a hole in the sequence. This season's ten episodes run from #501 to #510, and CNN's releases call it a ten-episode season. Eleven Saturdays fit between Sept. 12 and Nov. 21, so one of them had to be empty.

Does this show skip Saturdays every season?

Not last time. We read the listings for the previous season, and The Futon Critic numbers it #401 on Jan. 24 through #410 on Mar. 28. That is ten episodes on ten Saturdays in a row, with no empty week. TVmaze's list for that season puts its first two episodes on the same date, so we rely on the listings' dates for it. Treat the comparison as based on listings, since CNN's releases don't spell out that season's calendar.

What time is Have I Got News for You on CNN?

Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET on CNN. CNN's renewal release gave the premiere time as 9 p.m. ET/PT, and every CNN row in the listings this season reads 9:00 p.m. For other time zones, check your local listings.
