What Time Is SNL On Tonight? Season 52 Start Times by Time Zone and End Time

SNL starts at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturdays, live on NBC and Peacock. The whole country gets it at the same moment, so NBC puts the start at 10:30 p.m. Central, 9:30 p.m. Mountain and 8:30 p.m. Pacific. The next new episode is Saturday, Oct. 10.
That start time has not moved this season. Every Saturday on NBC's fall schedule, new or repeat, sits in the same late slot. What does change is whether the 11:30 show is new and whether NBC adds an older episode earlier in the evening. Both are in the second table.
What time does SNL start in each time zone?
| Time zone | SNL starts (Saturday) | Where the time comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Eastern | 11:30 p.m. | NBC's Season 52 viewing guide |
| Central | 10:30 p.m. | NBC's Season 52 viewing guide |
| Mountain | 9:30 p.m. | NBC's Season 52 viewing guide |
| Pacific | 8:30 p.m. | NBC's Season 52 viewing guide |
| Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii | Check your local NBC station | NBC doesn't publish a time for these |
We only print the four times NBC itself gives. Arizona skips daylight time and stations in Alaska and Hawaii set their own late-night lineups, so a time worked out from the Eastern start could be wrong for your station. Its own listing is the safe answer.
What time is SNL on in California and the rest of the West Coast?
8:30 p.m. Pacific, per NBC. The network says the show airs live coast to coast, which means Pacific viewers see it in the evening while it is happening in New York. Our how to watch SNL live page covers the Peacock stream and the options without cable.

What time does SNL end?
About 1 a.m. Eastern. TVmaze's listing data puts the running time at about 90 minutes from an 11:30 p.m. start, and that is the only end time we can point to. NBC's own guide gives the start and no finish.
Is SNL on at the same time when it's a rerun?
Yes. NBC's schedule, as The Futon Critic publishes it, keeps repeats in the 11:30 p.m. Eastern slot. Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 are both listed that way, with the repeat episodes not yet named.
| Saturday | In the 11:30 p.m. ET slot | Host and musical guest |
|---|---|---|
| Oct. 10 | New episode | Shane Gillis, Rosalía |
| Oct. 17 | Rerun | Repeat not yet named |
| Oct. 24 | Rerun | Repeat not yet named |
| Oct. 31 | New episode | Inde Navarrette, Gracie Abrams |
| Nov. 7 | New episode | Not yet announced |
| Nov. 14 | New episode | Not yet announced |
There is one more time to know about. On some new-episode nights NBC also schedules an older "vintage" SNL at 10 p.m. Eastern, ahead of the live show. The listings have that 10 p.m. repeat on Dec. 5, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19. If you tune in at 10 and see an old episode, the live one still starts at 11:30. Which Saturdays are new is tracked on our new-or-rerun page.
Does the clock change move SNL?
No. Most of the country sets clocks back an hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Oct. 31 episode is scheduled to be over by then, and from Nov. 7 the show is still listed at 11:30 p.m. Eastern.
Short answers
What day is SNL on? Saturday. The Futon Critic's NBC listings also show SNL holiday specials on a few weeknights in prime time in November and December. They are marked as repeats, so they are not the live show.
What time is SNL on Peacock? The same time as NBC. NBC lists Peacock as a live home for the Saturday broadcast, and the full episode is posted there the next day. NBC doesn't give an hour for the next-day posting.
